The North Carolina Museum of Art

As the first state-formed art museum in the country, the NCMA features a 5,000+ piece art collection that spans from the Classical period all the way to the modern era.

Visitors can also trek through the 164 acre museum park, which features trails and outdoor art pieces. Be sure to check out their rotating exhibitions, too—they've hosted everything from 20th century cars to Frida Kahlo paintings!

PNC Arena

Want to check out a concert or cheer on your local team? The PNC Arena is Raleigh's premiere event venue, and there are plenty of events that go on all year round!

Here, you'll discover musical artists, speakers, rodeos, and everything in between. The arena is also home to a few professional and college sports teams, such as the Carolina Hurricanes and the North Carolina State Wolfpack.

Downtown Raleigh

It doesn't matter if you're looking to enjoy a night on the town, shop the day away, or sample some of the best food in the Southeast. Downtown Raleigh is the most happening district in the city, and there are so many exciting places to discover.

Feel free to check out the museums, tour the capitol, check out some locally owned shops like Deco, or try out one of James Beard award-winning chef Ashley Christensen's fabulous restaurants.
